Course Detail

We can provide training in navigation, access and mountain safety followed by assessment to the nationally recognised NNAS Standard to Bronze and Silver level.

Your course will be individually tailored to meet the needs of your group and delivered in the idyllic surroundings of the Eastern Fells including Howtown Ullswater and the testing mountainous terrain of the High Street range & the Northern fells in the Caldbeck area. Most of your instruction and training will be outdoors in a practical hands on environment with a limited amount of classroom work in the heart of the mountains in the Pooley Bridge and Howtown area.

We can deliver training to groups of all ages and numbers.Course duration determined by the needs of the group and can range from 3 to 5 days with the longer courses allowing groups to test their new found skills in planning organising and managing full day mountain expeditions under the supervision of experienced instructors.

Bespoke Navigation Training

For groups not wishing to pursue the NNAS scheme but simply want to improve their navigation skills trips can be arranged to suit individual needs incorporating an enjoyable day in the hills.
