Mountain Adventure is a Penrith based Company run by Tony Stoddart

I have an extensive and varied background in the management of risk having served in the Fire and Rescue Service for over 30 years. During this time I have been involved in Operations in charge of a busy Division with over 200 staff  also the training and development of staff at all levels from operational to senior managers. In short managing risk has been part of my life for so long that it is second nature to me.

• I hold the MLTE Mountain Leader Award and am working towards my Single Pitch Climbing Instructor award.
• I am a qualified Mountain Bike Guide and Instructor and hold the MIAS Level 2 Guide & Instructor Award.
• I am a member of the Association of British Cycling Coaches I have a current HSE Approved First Aid Certificate.
• I also have a NEBOSH General Certificate pass with credit in Health and Safety.
• I have extensive experience in Mountaineering in the UK and completed all the Scottish Munros in 2003 I continue to be a regular visitor to Scotland and am probably halfway round the Munro's again.

I have a great passion and love of the mountains which I would like to share with you.
